Well 2015 surely holds a ton of promise for some exciting things and has started off with a bang. I was lucky enough to be awarded my 5th MVP award from Microsoft this year. It’s always a great way to start off the 1st when you have an e-mail waiting for you in the morning with amazing news like that. I’m always honored and humbled to be considered part of this small community filled with some amazing talent.
So what does 2015 have in store? From my end all I can say is, a lot! If you’ve been around the blog lately you will notice a few new projects have been mentioned around XMLRPC and WordPress. These client libraries are being finished up over the next month or two and are precursors to a few more projects.
My book is back on schedule and will be focused on the upcoming Windows 10. There will be a lot of excitement getting that polished off to share with every one. Hopefully I will also get a few more MSDN articles in this year. Those are a lot of fun to write and to share.
My poor blog has been neglected some over the last year. Business has been pretty good and other projects have taken a priority. I have a lot of plans for this blog this year and you will see a lot of changes in it. One of the biggest changes will be coming in a couple of weeks with something new I’ve been working on…
Finally, this will be the year of the app around here. My primary work focus is on the enterprise, so most of my work lives behind the firewall. This year I am going to change some of that and have several apps that will be hitting the market place. The 1st one should be out before the end of the month.
In short, there is going to be a lot of coding and writing going on around here. I’m always excited to hear feedback, questions, or just general chatting. You can reach me on Twitter at @tonychampion or just send me an e-mail to [tony at tonychampion.net].
I hope you were able to ring in the New Year with friends and family and hope you have a wonder and blessed year ahead of you!
